Your

50 Years of Collision Repair Business

Last month Offutt Collision Repair had close to 200 people in attendance honoring 50 years of being in business.  But it was more than just about a business.  It was more about the love our community has for George Rybar.  In fact, Mayor Rita Sanders declared September 15, 2016, Offutt Collision Repair Day.  The celebration was also about announcing the new owner who will be taking over the family owned business after being an employee for over 23 years.

For George his wife said, “It is always about his family, his work, and his community!”  You could tell this was true because not a single seat was empty, and the parking lot was filled with family, friends, and customers who were honored to be part of this amazing ceremony and celebration. George Rybar Junior will be handing over his business to Chad Kunkel December 31, 2016.  George said, “Chad takes care of this business as if it’s his own.  I took a step back a couple of years ago, and as you can see he is doing a great job.  Our parking lot is full!”

Chad has expressed that George and Lynda have always treated him as if he was family since day one.  He is the perfect man to continue George’s dream into the future.  “I’ve seen this business grow because of his vision,” Chad says. “He has done things in this industry no one has ever thought of.  George taught me many things to run a business the right way.  He has always said take care of your employees, and invest in your community.” Chad looks forward to continuing Offutt Collision Repair’s involvement in the community.

Offutt Collision Repair will continue to be driven to a higher standard, and provide the same quality work for each of our customers.  Without you, our customers, we would not be where we are at today but we also would not be where we are without Georges dream.  And as Rybar Senior said, “George is a business man, all I knew how to do was go to work.”  And as a great business man, his dream of leaving the poorly lit and crowded quarters of an auto shop to build a state of the art, high tech building became a reality, and he will not let that reality fade.  He chose Chad to be the next owner, knowing he will continue to support his dream and his love for the community.

I’m a military wife and mom of 3 boys. I’ve been with OCR for 2 years now, and I absolutely love it! I love how Offutt Collision is so involved in the community and with the military. I couldn’t imagine my life without OCR in it! Chad is an amazing owner who leads from the front, and truly cares about his customers. I know this is what makes us so special!
